CINC Terms & Conditions

This document sets out the terms and conditions between Cyber Ireland and you when you purchase a ticket.

Cyber Ireland reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any amended terms and conditions will be posted on this website.

CONFERENCE ORGANISER

CINC26 is organised by Cyber Ireland, hosted at Munster Technological University. 

PAYMENT POLICY

We accept payment by card only.

REGISTRATION CANCELLATION

Cancellations must be emailed to [email protected].

ACCOMMODATION CANCELLATION

Check with your hotel directly for your cancellation policy. Cyber Ireland is not responsible for accommodation bookings.

CHANGES & SUBSTITUTIONS

Substitutions are allowed until 12 September 2026. Please email [email protected] with the details.

REFUNDS

Ticket purchases are non refundable however we will consider refunds, in our sole discretion, up to 12th of September 2026.

EVENT CANCELLATION

If CINC26 is cancelled, the organisers are not liable for any costs beyond registration. Travel insurance for those coming from outside of Ireland is recommended.

MEDIA NOTICE

Photography, video, and audio may be captured and used for promotional purposes. Please email [email protected] in advance to opt out.

CODE OF CONDUCT

CINC26 is a harassment-free event. Discrimination or inappropriate content will not be tolerated in any setting.

DATA COLLECTION

Data Usage & Data Controller: Cyber Ireland processes your personal data to administer your registration and deliver the conference. Cyber Ireland is hosted at Munster Technological University (MTU), who is the Data Controller for the personal data collected during registration.

Data Collected: We collect your name, email, organisation, job title, dietary/access requirements and payment details for the purpose of managing your registration and delivering the event.

Data Sharing: Your data may be shared with event partners such as the event platform provider (MTU), payment processors, professional conference organiser or service providers strictly for event delivery purposes.

Delegates’ organisation and role will be shared with partners and sponsors.

Sponsors will have the function to collect delegate’s contact detail (name, organisation, role, email), with their explicit permission using a mobile app / device to scan a QR code on their name badge.

Ingenious Media is the Conference Association Partner who will manage the Ticket Registration and Lead Scanning. For further details on how the Conference Association Partner processes delegates data, see their Terms & Conditions here.

Conference delegates acknowledge and agree that Cyber Ireland will process your personal data for the purposes of administering your registration and delivering the conference, which includes sharing relevant data with event partners and sponsors where appropriate to support event delivery.
